Ludhiana, August 05, 2017 (Manisha Sharma): Spring Dale Sr. Sec. Public School celebrated its 36th Foundation Day in an innovative way. On August 02, 2017 bhog of Sri Sehaj Paath of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was held to seek the blessings of God Almighty for the peace, prosperity and progress of the school. Today the main celebrations took place.

Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, the Mayor of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest. He was accorded a warm welcome by the Managing Director and Founder Principal of the school Avinash Kaur Walia, Members of School Management, Principal, teachers and students.

The Mentor Award Winner of CBSE Sandeep Raikhi, the Academic Advisor was also present. Personalities like S. Gurdev Singh ACP Ludhiana, Col. Mathur, Bhupinder Kaur (KW Cycles), Jagdish Bajaj (Gyan Sthal Mandir), Jathedar Harjinder Singh (Gurudwara Flahi Sahib), Ranjit Singh (National Awardee), Inderpal (Hotel Riyasat), Surinder Kaur, Raj (Sangla Shivala Mandir), Gurmeet Singh (Kalgidhar Gurudwara) were also present on the occasion.

The programme started with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony performed by all the dignitaries. To invoke the blessings of God Almighty, then the Shabad was recited by the students playing various musical instruments themselves. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Bollywood Classical Dance, Fusion Dance, Bhangra and Giddha mesmerized everyone present.

The Managing Director and Founder Principal Avinash Kaur Walia congratulated all the students and teachers on the 36th Foundation Day of the school and inspired them to work hard to accept the new challenges in education. The Chairperson Nirmal Singh Walia, Drectors Mandeep Singh and Jarnail Singh, Deputy Director Kamalpreet Kaur and Principal nil Kumar Sharma motivated the students to go on with their efforts. t the end a vote of thanks was expressed.
